Bush lied and babies died! No war for oil

Familiar battle cries of the liberal left that are somehow mysteriously absent from the political landscape of the Obama-Nation. Where are the relentless accusations of American Imperialism, Colonialism and treason that were so prevalent during the GWB era? It seems that half of the country is so enamored with Obama and his brand of political theatre that they either can't or refuse to accept concrete facts

Half of us have become so intellectually lazy, ethically corrupt and morally bankrupt that the lies and hypocrisies of this Presidents policies are given a free pass, when in all actuality the criminality and treasonous political maneuverings of Berry and his cabinet are far worse then Anything Bush ever hoped to do.

I am baffled and befuddled that the liar in chief still has a significant following of mindless anti-war, anti-Bush drones who still sing the praises of Obama while cursing the colonial tactics of imperialism he employes....but I digress.

Syria and the fall of Americas Super Power Status.

If the past five years have taught us anything, they have taught us that we can no longer trust anything the US Government, The Liar in Chief or the Official Assholes in the halls of government tell us. We are beholden do a dictatorial regime who use American assets and Americas youth to further an imperial agenda. One thing should be crystal clear, we are not going to war with Syria because of their chemical weapons arsenal or the practices of Democide.

So why then are we, yet again, going off to some God-forsaken country that will undoubtedly cost hundreds if not thousands of innocent lives, and why are we accepting as a rationale for this decision the same reasoning given to us by the Bush Administration?

I reject the administrations official reason for military action in Syria. It is my opinion that the Syrian conflict is about two things; first: covering our asses over the Benghazi debacle and the missing arms illegally run through Turkey to Syrian rebels. (Also see: Eric Holder and Operation Fast and Furious) The second reason is of course oil.

Lets examine a few facts and see if we can't out a few things into perspective.

Ronald Reagan prophetically decried that whoever controls the pipelines to Europe will control Europe. The pipeline is a huge strategic asset to anyone who controls it. Both Russia and The United States have strategic, tactical and economic interests in the Syrian region.

In 2009 a proposal from Qatar for a pipeline paid for by The Americans that would supply Europe through Syria was shot down by Syrian dictatorial miscreant Assad. 

Syrian President Assad turned this proposal down, and immediately allied with Russia and Iran to complete the pipeline.

Russia and Assad are currently the primary benefactors of the pipeline that will be completed in 2016.

Russia also has massive strategic interests in obtaining warm water ports.

We are in bed with Qatar, therefore we need to take Syria proper in order to gain control of the pipeline, not to mention to save face to the rest of the world.

Make no mistake, we are witnessing the end of the beginning of world war three. Iran has a strict mutual defense treaty with Syria. Russia and Iran are quickly becoming strong allies. China is also lining up with Russia and Iran. 

Once again, history is repeating itself. Trade wars+currency wars+economic slump= world wars...
